An exterior that stands out

Kia EV6 breaks with traditional SUV design. The short front overhang, the sloping roofline and the dramatic LED light bar at the rear give it a sporty crossover silhouette that is visible from a long distance. With dimensions of 4 680 × 1 880 × 1 550 mm and a wheelbase of 2 900 mm, the EV6 offers a surprisingly spacious interior despite its compact footprint. The low front end without a traditional grille gives it a futuristic look that defines Kia's new design language "Opposites United".

Interior with a premium feel

Inside you are greeted by a curved display with dual 12.3-inch screens – one for instrumentation and one for infotainment. The materials are carefully considered, with recycled PET bottles in the upholstery and bio-based materials in the steering wheel. The flat floor (thanks to the dedicated EV platform) provides generous legroom in the rear seat. The boot holds 490 litres, and with the rear seat folded it increases to 1,300 litres. There is also a frunk of 52 litres (RWD) for cables and small items.

Kia EV6 Range and Charging

Kia EV6 uses Hyundai Motor Group's E-GMP platform with 800V architecture – the same technology as the Porsche Taycan, but at a fraction of the price. This means the EV6 can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes at a 350 kW charger. That is among the fastest charging times on the market.

With the Long Range battery (77,4 kWh), the EV6 RWD achieves up to 528 km WLTP range. In reality, you can expect around 400–450 km in mixed driving under Swedish conditions. In winter, the range drops to approximately 350–380 km depending on temperature and driving style.

EV6 also supports 400V chargers with a built-in converter, so you never need to worry about compatibility. AC charging takes up to 11 kW, providing a full charge in approximately 7 hours – perfect for overnight charging at home.

EV6 GT is Kia's performance monster – an EV with 585 hk, 740 Nm and 0–100 in 3.5 seconds. That makes it faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera and BMW M3. The top speed is limited to 260 km/h.

The GT version has an electronic differential lock (e-LSD), drift mode, GT-specific sport seats with Alcantara, green brake caliper paint and 21-inch alloy wheels. The chassis has been retuned with stiffer suspension and more direct steering for a more engaging driving experience.

With 350 kW DC charging support, the GT charges even faster than the standard model. The range of 424 km WLTP is lower due to the higher power output and wider tyres, but that is a reasonable compromise for the performance.
