Kia's electric cars offer between 370–625 km of range depending on the model and battery size. The Kia EV4 Long Range tops out at 625 km (WLTP), while the EV3 Standard Range offers approx. 370 km. In real-world driving, range varies depending on temperature, driving style, and speed.
With DC fast charging (150 kW), it takes approx. 29–31 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. With an 11 kW AC wallbox at home, you can fully charge in approx. 6–7 hours. Perfect to charge overnight and wake up with a full battery.
A full charge of the EV3 (81.4 kWh) costs approx. 120–160 kr at an average electricity price of 1.50–2.00 kr/kWh. That gives approx. 600 km of driving – roughly 20–27 öre per kilometre. Compared to petrol (approx. 1.50 kr/km), you save considerably.
All Kia electric cars come with a 7-year warranty (or 150,000 km), a 7-year battery warranty with a 70% capacity guarantee, and 7 years of Kia Connect connectivity with navigation updates. It is the industry's most generous warranty package.
Yes! The Kia EV3 can tow up to 1,000 kg (braked), the EV5 up to 1,600 kg. Bear in mind that range decreases by approx. 30–40% when towing. All models also have a prepared tow bar as an option.
