100% Electric SUV
Kia EV5 is the new generation electric SUV – spacious, powerful and smart. With up to 530 km range, a cargo volume of 566 litres and groundbreaking V2G technology, it sets a new standard for electric mobility.
Exterior & Interior
Kia EV5 combines Kia's design philosophy "Opposites United" with a sculpted, aerodynamic body. The iconic "Digital Tiger Face" with vertical "Star Map" LED signatures makes an immediate presence on the road – an SUV that looks as modern as it feels.
Kia EV5 has a bold front with vertical LED light signatures, hidden door handles that improve aerodynamics and an integrated rear spoiler. The low drag coefficient of Cd 0.28 maximises range without compromising the powerful SUV silhouette.
Inside you are met by three screens – a 12.3" digital instrument cluster, a 12.3" infotainment screen and a 5.3" climate panel. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman Kardon audio and relax seats with massage (GT-Line) make every journey an experience.

Range & Battery
Kia EV5 is powered by a powerful 81.4 kWh battery built on Kia's E-GMP platform. With an energy consumption as low as 16.9 kWh/100 km and support for fast charging up to 350 kW DC via the 400V architecture, you go further with fewer and shorter stops.
Large battery with high energy density delivering up to 530 km range (WLTP) in a compact and lightweight construction.
Kia EV5 uses 400V architecture with fast charging up to 350 kW DC. Charge from 10 to 80% in just 27 minutes.
Automatic pre-heating of the battery before fast charging – optimises charging time regardless of weather.
Electric SUV with large cargo space
Kia EV5 proves that an electric SUV doesn't have to compromise on load capacity. With 566 litres of cargo space as standard, 1 650 litres with seats folded down and an extra frunk space of 44 litres, you have room for everything – from strollers to ski packages.
Kia EV5 as a family car
With a flat floor thanks to the E-GMP platform, up to one metre of legroom in the rear seat and 3-zone climate control, Kia EV5 is built for the whole family to enjoy – on short and long journeys.
Kia EV5 has a wheelbase of 2 750 mm which provides exceptional legroom both front and rear. The completely flat floor means that the middle passenger in the back sits just as comfortably as those at the windows. 5 full-size seats, not 4+1.
Kia EV5 has thoughtful features that make everyday life easier. Relax seats for rest breaks, Standstill Mode which keeps the cabin climate-controlled during stops, and Pet Mode which takes care of four-legged family members.
Use your smartphone or smartwatch as a car key. Easily share access with family members via the app.
Voice control navigation, climate and media with natural language – without taking your hands off the wheel.
Charge your smartphone wirelessly while driving. Never run out of battery in the car again.
Kia's industry-leading warranty gives complete peace of mind for you and your family. 8-year battery warranty with 70% capacity guarantee.
Highway Driving Assist 2, blind spot warning, automatic braking with pedestrian detection and 360° camera protect the whole family.
V2G & V2L Technology
Kia EV5 not only supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) but is also prepared for Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) – the technology that lets your car feed power back to the grid. This means your Kia EV5 is not just a means of transport but a smart energy solution for the home and society.
With a 230V outlet delivering up to 3.6 kW, you can use the Kia EV5 as a portable power source. Run household appliances, charge e-bikes, use electric tools at work or turn the car into a power source when camping.
Kia EV5 is V2G-ready, which means it can deliver power back to the grid during peak hours. You can potentially earn money by selling electricity from your car when prices are high and charging when electricity is cheap – a smart investment for the future.
Enough to power a coffee maker, laptop, electric grill or even charge another electric car.
Use the car's battery as backup power for the home during power outages or as a complement to solar panels.
Feed surplus energy back to the grid and contribute to a more sustainable energy system in Sweden.
