For Kia EV6 and EV9 owners, the 800V architecture delivers the market's fastest charging – 10-80% in just 18 and 24 minutes respectively.
With Swedish electricity prices (approx. 0.50-2.00 kr/kWh) a full charge costs 30-150 kr depending on battery size and electricity price. That gives a cost of approx. 0.10-0.40 kr/km.
Easee Home, Zaptec Go and Charge Amps Halo are popular choices. Choose at least 11 kW for future-proofing.
At home: 6-10 hours (11 kW). Fast charging: 18-45 minutes (10-80%). Kia EV6 is fastest with 18 minutes from 10-80%.
For optimal charging, three-phase power (11-22 kW) is recommended. Single-phase (3.7 kW) works but is considerably slower.
Installation typically costs 5,000-15,000 kr depending on the distance to the electrical panel. The charge box costs 6,000-15,000 kr.
