Kia EV6 Range – All Figures per Version

The Kia EV6 offers up to 582 km of range according to WLTP. Range differs between RWD, AWD and GT Line. Here are all the official figures, charging times and what affects range in the real world.

Range per Version

All versions of the Kia EV6 share the same 84 kWh battery. Range varies depending on the drivetrain and wheel size.

Power and Performance

VersionTorque0–100 km/hTop Speed
EV6 RWD350 Nm7.7 s186 km/h
EV6 AWD / GT Line AWD605 Nm5.3 s188 km/h

The AWD version sacrifices some range (546 km versus 582 km for RWD) in exchange for significantly stronger performance: 605 Nm of torque and 0–100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, versus 7.7 seconds for RWD.

Charging Time and How It Affects Range

DC Fast Charging

Up to 258 kW via a CCS Type 2 connector. With a 250 kW+ charger, 10–80% charging takes around 18 minutes thanks to the EV6's 800V architecture.

AC Home Charging

Built-in charger rated at 10.5 kW. With a three-phase wallbox (16 A), a full charge takes around 7 hours 35 minutes.

Towing Capacity

Up to 1,800 kg braked trailer (750 kg unbraked). With a standard category B licence, 1,005 kg (RWD) / 900 kg (AWD) applies.

Kia EV6 Range in Winter

In cold climates, range drops on every electric car. Here's what to expect from the Kia EV6 in Nordic winter conditions.

A common rule of thumb for electric cars in Nordic winter climates is 20–30% lower range compared to the WLTP figure. For the Kia EV6, that would in practice mean:

  • RWD (582 km WLTP)An estimated 405–465 km in winter
  • AWD (546 km WLTP)An estimated 380–435 km in winter
  • GT Line AWD (522 km WLTP)An estimated 365–415 km in winter

This is an industry rule of thumb, not an independently measured figure specific to the EV6.

FAQ about Kia EV6 Range

The Kia EV6 RWD has a WLTP range of up to 582 km. The AWD version reaches 546 km, and the GT Line AWD (20" wheels) 522 km. All versions share the same 84 kWh battery.

Thanks to its 800V architecture, the EV6 charges at up to 258 kW DC. Going from 10 to 80% takes around 18 minutes with a sufficiently powerful charger. At home (10.5 kW, three-phase), a full charge takes around 7 hours 35 minutes.

Generally expect 20–30% lower range in Nordic winter conditions, in line with other electric cars in Nordic climates.

Yes. RWD has the longest range (582 km) thanks to lower weight and a single motor. AWD delivers significantly better performance (605 Nm, 0-100 in 5.3s) but somewhat shorter range (546 km).
